At this very moment August 13, 2004 Hurricane Charley destroyed our town, damaging more than half of the buildings. Two years later many people are still waiting for repairs and a return to normalcy. I'm fortunate that my house has been repaired and we're close to living a normal life. Today we have blue skies with sunshine and no storm on the horizon. Hurricane Katrina victims can expect to be unsettled for years to come - we speak based on experience.
