Last month one of my cousins celebrated her 105th birthday. On Nov. 12 another cousin will celebrate her 101st birthday in Malax - Hildegard Forsberg. Her husband John is a retired Lutheran pastor, and he's only 93 years old. It must have something to do with our genes. I had a physical today and my good and bad cholesterol and blood pressure are excellent. My doctor is quite proud of me because 10 years ago after extensive cancer surgery, I was told I might survive 5 years at the most - but here I am - still alive and kicking!
