It was ten years ago today that my town was almost leveled by a Category 4 hurricane named Charley. And it has taken almost that long to recover from the devastation. But our area people got together and worked to rebuild and get back to a normal way of life without waiting for the government to do it for us. Tonight a local TV station plans to rebroadcast events for people who want to re-live the storm and after-effects. The weather forecast for today is clear with no storms on the horizon.
