There was a discussion on Facebook about lutfisk and how to cook it. I submitted this recipe... it will soon be time to prepare it and eat it! 
Place the well rinsed lutfisk in a frying pan over low heat, (do not use an aluminum pan as the lye in the fish will discolor the pan). Add salt, cover with a lid, and steam cook approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
or:
Oven Baking: Place the well rinsed lutfisk in an ovenproof dish, cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until fish flakes.
