Norden newspaper, 18 March 2004, has this obituary for Linnea A. Bergman, 96 years old of W. Winnona St., Duluth, MN. She died 5 Feb 2004 at Benedictine Health Center in Duluth. She was born 21 Aug 1907 in Branford, Conn. to Charles and Lena (Kambström) Kamb who returned to Yttermark in Närpes when Linnea was 3 years old. She grew up and went to school there and returned to America when she was 19. She married in Virginia, MN to Erik Bergman who was a widower from Finby, Närpes. He died 1958. They had a son Melvin. Survivors are son Melvin and wife and two stepsons: Eric Bergman and Elmer Bergman and many grandchildren. She has a brother Karl Kamb in New Haven, Conn. and relatives in Finland.
