    Swedish-speakers...

These municipalities have more than 10% Swedish-speakers as of 31.12.2002. The Åland municipalities are not included in this statistics.

Note that Kosnäs probably is the most Swedish-speaking municipality in the whole world!

      Swedish communities in Finland

      Hi Hasse,
I missed three communities of personal interest: Terjärv, Esse, and Solf. Are these three combined into other communities?

Thanks for all your time on Finlander, by the way. I notice Jim Bailey's list of family tree names is posted, and that must have taken some time to enter!

        - Terjärv, Nedervetil and Kronoby formed the new Kronoby
        - Esse nowadays belongs to Pedersöre
        - Solf is part of Korsholm

Everything changes. Less municipalities - that is the trend!
