A book has been written about Ålander Johanna Grüssner and her trip with 24 Bronx children to Åland in 2001. The book is "Seven Days of Possibilities", by New York Times reporter Anemona Hartocollis, and will be available at bookstores in June. It's about 24 children from the Bronx and their love of music, their childhood and families, etc. Johanna will be in the US soon and Norden newspaper will report more about her and the book.
