Today Sweden and Cristian Olsson won gold medal in Tripel Jump. Stefan Holm also won gold medal in high jump. And yesterday Carolina Kluft won gold medal in heptathlon. So it has been a fantastic weekend for us who like to watch Athletics in the Olympic Games. Sweden has not won so much gold medals in Athletic in the Olympic Games since London 1948.

Another Olympic Games Watcher

Well done to Sweden. I also have been watching most of the Olympic Events, especially the swimming, sailing and athletics. Being a dual national Australian/Brit, my rather loud cheering from the armchair has mostly been for those two countries, but I have also been observing Sweden's and Finland's progress - there`s still a few more days Finland!!
