I have a query for help as follows. If anyone can give me some clues, I'd appreciate it:
I am searching info about how USA, especially Finn Americans, were involved in Finnish Winter
War. There were about 300 Finn Americans who volunteered. About 30 of them came in Dec. 1939 and were placed somewhere in the Frontier; there were some casualties. The rest came March 12th or 13th - and the war over March 13th , so they came rather late. I think they all were called some (Finn - American) League?
It would be interesting to find more facts about these people, if possible, names and so on. I have searched on the net, but find mostly only references to some books.
