Went to see Alice Cooper in concert last night at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, Michigan. http://www.freedomhill.net/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_Cooper
The last time I saw one of his concerts I was in my 20's, and now I am 54 years old! A friend won the grand prize from a local radio station of $1000.00 and 10 concert tickets, so he invited us and some of our old high school friends to go with him.
In my 20's what impressed me the most was the theatrics of Alice Cooper's concerts and not necessarily his music. I was amazed at what a varied age group attended his concert last night! Thought I'd attach a photo taken last night of Alice Cooper. (our seats were on the party deck which sat off to the side of the stage, so it was hard to get a good photo)

Never seen him live, but I bought the album Schools out in 72, and one more later, don't remember the name and can't find it now. My several hundred LP:s are stored here and there, but I still have a good record player, and now and then put some old LP:s playing.
It's funny, but it seems that they made better music back then, or have I gotten old? no way!
By now I collect mostly music by The Ventures, have about 50 LP:s and numerous CD:s of my favourite instrumental band that recently got introduced into the rock & roll Hall of Fame. I also got a DVD of their concert in Japan in 2002 I think, absolutely Great!
I have a big job waiting, I need to rip and digitalize all my old LP:s and burn them into CD:s

      Hi Lasse,
Alice Cooper did various selections last night starting with a few choruses of Schools Out and then many from Welcome To My Nightmare, which was the first concert I saw in the 70's., ending with the full song Schools Out. You Tube has quite a few of his songs. I personally like Under My Wheels and No More Mister Nice Guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZnhuOEUFXA&feature=fvw
He's 61 years old but can still rock and roll...

Sounds like you do have quite a task with the burning of albums to CD's. I've taken many of my CD's, most only have a few great tunes on each, and then burned them to make a few, all filled with my favorites.

      Have fun,
      Denise

The only Alice Cooper album I could get into is Trash...which is one friggin' fantastic album! Its one of the few albums I can listen the whole way through w/o skipping tracks. Each one is golden.

Coincidentally, I got into that album because Children of Bodom, my favorite band (who are from Espoo, Finland!), did a cover of track 6 off Trash, "Bed of Nails". I liked the cover so much I downloaded the album it came from lol.
