Kiemi Träsk

Under "marriages" on Hiski in Kemijärvi 1699 is one for an ancestor which was from Kiemi Träsk. Is this the same as Kemijärvi or another place? I thought it might be an early spelling. Träsk is marsh or swamp, correct?

Kemiträsk is old name for Kemijärvi as said at

My Swedish-English dictionary gives the same, but Swedish-Finnish gives lampi, which is pond, small lake according to Finnish-English dictionary
Without any dictionaries I would have picked the meaning lake (fi järvi).

Thanks, Jaska. I'd hate to think my ancestors were "swamp people." I've been in Kemijärvi and didn't see any swamps.
