I have a newspaper article, in Finnish, about one of my cousins who has twice covered the entire length of Finland on skis - from the Arctic Ocean to the Gulf of Finland. All I can understand of the article is 1800 kilometers. She's 43 years old and just about lives on her skis. Her father is 78 and has won too many ski medals to display - most of them are packed away. I saw about 100 of them when I visited.
