I have a cousin in Kuopio who has many hobbies.. she sends me newspaper articles about her adventures... but they are in Finnish and I can't read them. I do know that one is about her love of skiing - she has skied all over Finland from north to south... now she is going to bicycle all around Finland on her 6-week holiday. Her latest hobby seems to involve geology, according to a word I deciphered in her newpaper article. She is Kaija (Kaki) Pelo, daughter of Kalevi Pelo, who is also a skiing champion in Finland.. They are related to Riku and Roope Pelo, who are part of the Virtuoso singers... so much talent in one family...

I like it because it's kind of like genealogy: hunting hints etc. to find more information on a person/thing - or a mix of genealogy and orienteering (both my hobbies, too).
