Hi,
The SFHS exhibit of Swedish Finns who have had an impact on American culture is getting ready.
One of the persons included is John Wickstrom. A picture of his home area of Kvevlax would add a lot to the display. Does anyone have one they are willing to share?

I sent an email to a journalist friend of mine who lives in Kvevlax. She is an editor of the Kyrkpressen weekly and drives around a lot with her camera. Maybe she has some pictures in stock that she can share?

That's very helpful. There are more than 50 names for 6 spaces. And there must be hundreds more of which I am not aware. Yet. Hopefully people will keep on sending material to be archived at SFHS. My dream is that every emigrant would be rememebered.
