An incredible package came in the mail to SFHS yesterday. Alicia Koski Marshall sent at least a dozen very old obituaries from the Leading Star, some from 1909!
These are just invaluable! The SFHS archives all Leading Star papers (the news organ from the Order of Runeberg) but the oldest numbers are mostly missing.
If anyone has old issues, SFHS would appreciate your donation of the items or copies of them.
