Just had an interesting e-mail from a 2nd cousin I haven't heard from in umpteen years... she said she's been searching for my e-mail address for months and finally found me. She has the urge to go to Finland and look up the places where her ancestors came from. She doesn't know anyone there and only knows they came from around Gamlakarleby.... she wanted to know if there are any living relatives there. So I've begun "educating" her with pictures and stories, maps, articles, for background, and then we can contact relatives in Finland and see that she gets the "grand tour".
