Now you fellows have got me going again!
Just reading granskare's discription of Trenary Toast made me think of the cinnamon toast my Swede-Finn grandparents would buy on shopping day. It came in a celophane package with rows of cinnamon toast wrapped in another layer of celophane. I don't remember the brand name but it was delicious. It was dry and sweet. I can even it taste it again in my mind now!
So I've been transported to the 60s again!
Thanks for reviving the memories.....
