Any information about Frank Erickson och maby Erikson who died in Gardner MA d. 14 June 1951? We know the death date and found the name he used in USA, but are unsure about the spelling of it. His name in Finland was Frans Emil which also indicates he could have used Frank E Erickson

Following entry in Obituary list OR:
Frank E. Erickson, born Dagsmark, Lappf. in Vasa province Finland. Died Gardner Mass 1951. Obit in Order of Runeberg Leading Star July 1951.

The Leading Star newspaper is archived at the SFHS library offices. Do you want me to see if that issue is among the copies? We have most of those after 1960, but earlier issues are sometimes missing.
(SFHS can't purchase such items, but must hope for materials to be donated.)

He is born 23 july 1887 in Dagsmark Lappfjärd Finland. The immigration we know about: 23 may 1906 from Hangö to Engalnd, 29 may 1906 with Ivernia to Boston. But it is possible he may have returned to Finland and then left again about 1914. his name Frans Emil Andersson Storkull.

I searched the Scandinavians in the 1910 US Federal Census Index using F. ERI these were the best results.

Everything seemed to match. Names in the family, familygraves side by side, deathplace ... but yesterday we grew suspisious and found out two persons with the same name from the same place, going to the same states, even the vicar messed them and marked the deathinformation on the wrong family. Now we just know that Frans Emil Andersson Storkull born 23 jul 1887 emigrates 23 may 1906 from Finland, from England 29 May 1906 with Ivernia, Cunard Line and his destination was Boston. According to our information there were siblings and neighbours in MA VN area. So back to zero...
Did he even use Frank E - we do not know now
