        Finns in Greater Detroit, 1935

Ronn T. William, (Tyyne), 5794 Montclair

I got the above line from the genealogical society of finland's website. could be more at that place also.
In the left frame, United States/index/michigan and work from there.

          Rönn in 1910 census

          Hi Bert,

I have searched several times for Rönn/Ronn/Riekko
on the Scandinavians in the 1910 US Federal census unsuccessfully. Today I did a search using Gabriel because he could be located in the Institute of Migration
site as emigrating from Hanko to Fitchburg, MA on 01.04.1899 aged 36.

Altogether I found 134 Gabriel however the lone Gabriel in Fitchburg was only 24 in 1910. Here is a list of the surnames of Gabriels aged 46-47 in 1910. Perhaps you will recognise an alternative name that may have been used.
          Anderson (in AK), Ekola (CA), Alexson (CA), Brimmel(CT), Ragala(MI), Letho(MI), Luilinen(MN), Koshonen(PA) (no age), Heablom(WA), and Leof(WI).

There was a 48 yr old Mattan, Gabriel in Duluth, St Louis MN.

          Hopefully something helpful here.

          Jeanette

Sorry Bert I should have posted this at the other site.

              Bert,

If any of the names look familiar I can give you the census roll and page numbers to help you with finding them on the 1910 census.

              Best wishes,

              Jeanette
