Looking for details on my great grandfather Rönnholm, Karl Gustaf Johannesson b. 6/12 1876 in Korsholm. d. 13/4 1929 in Alaska. Passport issued 27/12 1901. First trip 11/1 1902 to Ashland USA from Hanko with s/s Polaris via Engand and Allan Lines ship. Second trip (the last??) 18/10 1905 to New York USA from Hanko with s/s Polaris via Cedric/Engand 25/10 1905 on White Star Lines ship.

Anything on his years in USA !

More information (August Pellas)

Found him in Ellis Island records.
Second trip: Arrived in NY 3/11 1905 with the Cedric.
In the manifest he informs to visit a friend, Mr. August Pellas.

Could be Johan August Pellas from Korsholm (Mustasaari) b. 1882.
Left Hanko 1/2 1902 with s/s Arcturus via England with White Star Line.

Anyone who knows something about these young gentlemen
seeking their fortune in th U.S.

Hi Thomas,
I tried searching the census indexes for 1910 & 1920 for both of these men but they did not show up. Could be due to a misspelling or a variation of last name. I'll keep trying and see if I can find something for you.
