I am new to this forum but not new to genealogy. My Finnish-Swedish ancestors are Mörtbergs from Overtornea, Vanhainens from Kauliranta,Ylitornio and Tuoma-Matti. My thanks to Esko Orajärvi for completing my puzzle on the Tuoma-Matti-Kohkola connections. My grandfather Oscar Wanhainen immigrated to Mi in 1898 and later operated a barber shop in South Range.
